Hi,

I wish to use Talend to recover data DBASE and to transfer them towards a base of data mysql having a different structure

Is it possible to create a connection towards files DBASE?

hi,
you can use a bd generic component based on ODBC, microsoft delivers one by default with XP

I develop with Ubuntu.
Can I use ODBC on Ubuntu ? I think is not possible ?

Hi,
I can't install this component with wiki instructions to deploy a new user-defined component
Deploy a new component
1.
Specified a ?User components folder? in TOS preferences (preferences/Talend/Components)
2.
Copy your newly created component folder in the user components folder
3.
After launch, you should see your component in folder ?components/user? in org.talend.designer.components.localprovider plugin
4.
your component should also appears in palette in job desiner
I have not DBConnection xBase
