[7.2.1] TOS Data Integration - Basic Run Console behavior changed / disable output

Hi TOS community,

with 7.2.1. the console behavior in the Basic Run window changed. Before the "line limit" would stop after X number of lines. Now it tails the output and displays X number of lines.

As many (not all) of my jobs output is mainly directed to a log4j file, I always found it handy to disable the slowing down of Talend Jobs by limiting the console output to a few lines. How can I easly disable the Basic Run console for some jobs with the current 7.2.1. version of TOS Data Integration?

Does this" issue" only repro on V 7.2.1? Could you please give us some trouble screenshots for it?

Thanks for the reply. This is new since i updated from 7.0.x to 7.2.1. This does not seem to be an issue, just a change of behavior.

See screenshot: We are in the run window on the card "Basic Run". There is the "Line limit" option (red) for example 10 lines.

before: the output of the running job will stop after 10 lines of output from System.out.

now (green): the ouput of the running job will not stop, but only 10 lines of output will be displayed and updated constantly (always displaying the last 10 lines )

Hello,

Actually, limit-option is used to limit the number of lines to read on console. So far, we are not able to disable the Basic Run console.
