Talend Studio Pull & Merge no longer shows changes

Hi.

Every since upgrading to Studio 7.3 we have noticed that when doing a Pull & Merge, the "Pull result" window that used to pop up showing the changes, no longer stays on screen. It flashes up on screen then disappears.

I can't find a setting that is controlling this, and it was an useful feature.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

We are using Talend Studio 7.3.1 (R2021-04-7.3.1)

Hi Steve,

I have just tested this on my Studio which is 7.3.1 (R2021-03-7.3.1) and am not seeing what you have mentioned. I am running the Studio on a Mac. Can I ask you to raise this with support please? This could be a bug with R2021-04-7.3.1. If it is, they will be able to recreate your environment and identify what is causing this.

Hi @Steve Williams , i have the same problem with the same version of talend studio, but the window go just behind the others ,it's still there it wasn't closed.

As I said, I don't get this issue with my version, but when I have seen issues like @guenneguez jeremy describes in the past (using Windows), I have used alt+tab to cycle through the windows that are not in focus. Maybe try command + tab on your Mac.

If this works, can you give @guenneguez jeremy the "Best Answer" since he knew about this issue?

The window is nowhere to be seen on my PC. After it flashes up and disappears, the window is gone. It's not behind any other windows (I have no other programs open apart from my browser). So I still can't find it 😔

Sorry, I may have assumed that you are using a Mac. It sounds like there is definitely something to be raised with support here. Even if the window was being hidden, it should be raised. But if you are not able to get access to the window, yet @guenneguez jeremy is, it sounds like something with that patch has gone awry.

we upgraded to 20210623_R2021-06_v2, on pc we have no longer this error.
