Thank you Pedro.
But the requirement for this project is to use the JDBC driver supplied by Microsoft. The Microsoft JDBC driver does support Windows Integrated Authentication as specified in the overview here http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms378749(v=sql.110).aspx
I must make TOS work with this driver. Please help.
In the meantime, I will also try your recommendation.
Thank you.

I'm getting the error mentioned above while attempting to setup a DbConnection to a SQL Server 2008R2 installed in my local machine via Windows Authentication.

Here's my setup:
My environment is entirely 32bit.
XPSP3
TOS for Data Integration
JDBC Driver downloaded from
http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/sqlserver/aa937724
TCP/IP enabled
Windows Authentication
TOS Latest (5.0.2)
JDBC URL I'm trying: jdbc:sqlserver://localhost;databaseName=ReconDB;integratedSecurity=true;
Driver JAR: C:\Program Files\sqljdbc_4.0\enu\sqljdbc4.jar
Class name in TOS: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
My current project requires that we use the Microsoft JDBC driver for TOS-SQL Server connectivity. I've been breaking my head for nearly the whole day just to establish connection between TOS and SQL Server 2008 R2, all within my local machine, with no firewall restrictions whatsoever.
Please someone help. Thank you.

Hi
Why don't you use DB type "Microsoft SQL Server" instead of "General JDBC"?
If you want to connect SQL SERVER via Windows Authentication, you 'd better follow these steps.
- Step 1: Download the ntlm driver for Windows Authentication. http://sourceforge.net/projects/jtds/files/
- Step 2: You will find in the folder SSO a file called ntlmauth.dll. Put it in c:\windows\system32 and restart TOS.
- Step 3: Create a new MSSQL connection in metadata and leave user & password fields empty.

Regards,
Pedro
