I want to FTP the mainframe dataset into .txt format using Talend component. Please suggest me the right component or a chain of components to be used. Thank you in advance.

Are you seeking to retrieve a file via FTP and save it to some location or are you looking to create a file using some data source and put it on a remote server?

Yes, I want to save the file to some location on my computer through FTP.

what is mainframe dataset in this case? in what form You have source data?
