&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;I would like import data from excel file to Mysql Database.&lt;BR /&gt;I don't success to import number with decimal because excel format is xxxx,xx&lt;BR /&gt;Mysql need a number format with xxxx.xx&lt;BR /&gt;For the moment i declare Excel number as a bigDecimal 18,3 and in Mysql DECIMAL 18,3&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;I begin with talent and i would like to know the best practice.&lt;BR /&gt;I tried many conversions in TMap without success.&lt;BR /&gt;It's the right way to declare number as decimal or declare as a string ?&lt;/P&gt; 
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp; &amp;nbsp;Could you please try the decimal separator operator in advanced section of excel input component?&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Make sure that you are changing the thousand separator operator to something different or empty string.&lt;/P&gt;
