Hi

Yes, you can also create different context for salesforce connections, and specify the context before you run the job.

If you want the job in TMC, create different environment for each context.

Regards

Shong

Hello All,

I'm currently developing a Talend Project for Salesforce migration. There is a situation in which I have multiple sandboxes and multiple salesforce orgs. I would prefer not to create a lot of Salesforce connection but rather a one with a possibility to switch context (and so one and the same job could be run on different Salesforce environments without changing configuration for each tSalesforceInput and tSalesforceOutput).

I have seen in documentation there is such a possibility with RDBMS connection and file connection:

https://help.talend.com/r/en-US/8.0/studio-user-guide/creating-multiple-contexts-for-same-connection

https://help.talend.com/r/en-US/8.0/studio-user-guide/switching-between-different-contexts-of-same-connection

Is an analogous setting also possible for Salesforce? If not, what is the best alternative to this approach? I am using OAuth authentication in Salesforce (just as additional information)

I will be grateful for any hint.
