[resolved] UTF-8 encoding with MSSQL Input

Is there a way to change an ISO encoded MSSQL Input to UTF-8? Saving the input as a file and use the tChangeFileEncoding component would be a possible workaround, but a rather ugly one.

Have you tried to set Additional JDBC Parameter character Encoding=UTF-8 in advanced settings of tMSSqlInput component?

I'm using tMSSQLInput, not tMySQLInput, and the MSSQL connector offers no additional settings.
I'll try to change the encoding in tJavaRow, maybe this works.

Can you get "Additional JDBC Parameters" field on your tMSSQLInput component?

Ok, I just had to deactivate "use an existing connection", now I can see the additional JDBC parameters under advanced settings.
