can't find the component view

Hi,
I am doing the Big Data Advanced Course, executing the Click Stream Use Case. I have two very basic issues.

1) When I open Talend Studio, I cannot find the repository view. The little house-icon is gone.
2) I can create a simple job in Designer View, but the pane (which i found to be at the bottom of the screen in the BD Basics course), where i can configure the components, does not open.

Please Help.

Hi Martin
If the component disappears, you can open it by clicking Windows-->show views-->Talend-->Component viewer.
