Monitor - Get Notification from TAC when backend processes are done

Is there an API or a way that we can get notified when TAC is running but the backend processes have stopped? We currently use Talend 5.6.1.
Another issue that we came across is when a job got stuck with the message "Waiting for task to complete". Is there a way to get when a job lands up in this state.
Will having the value as "Restart" or "Reset" for On Job server Unavailable fix this issue?

Hi
No notification if the task is hanging up, we can only receive notification if the task is failed. How often do you get this issue? Is it fixed if you restart tomcat?

Not too often. However the only way to know that the job is hung is we checking TAC often to see that all the jobs have run successfully. Is there a better way to do this?
