Reading image file(BLOB file) and insert into netezza via talend

Hi,
Please help me, I am stuck badly. I want to store images in netezza DB via talend. How can I do that? Netezza does not supports BLOB and CLOB, but any chance of using varchar(64000) and getting through??
I tried reading the image file as string using tFileInputRaw, but receiving following error while inserting using tNetezzaOutput:
"ERROR: Unterminated quoted string
Exception in component tNetezzaOutput_2
org.netezza.error.NzSQLException: FATAL 1: Socket command type
at org.netezza.internal.QueryExecutor.getNextResult(QueryExecutor.java:276)"
