tFileMSInputPositional not able to connect to tCreateTemporaryFIle

HI,

I have used tFileMSInputPositional to extract Header, Trailer & Details records as three schemas.

I need to Join Header and Detail records but unfortunately i am not able to map the lookup for tMap.

So i thought of creating three temporary files using tCreateTemporaryFile, which can be deleted after the Job run, Join them using these temp files.

But i am not able to link

tFileMSInputPositional with tCreateTemporaryFile.

Can you suggest why?

You can cache each schema data into memory using tHashOutput, and then read the data back using tHashInput in next subjob and do the join. eg:

tFileInputMSPositional--header--tHashOutput1

--Details--tHashOuput2

-Trailer--tHashOutput3

|onsubjobok

tHashInput1....tMap......

|lookup

tHashinput2
