&lt;BR /&gt;Firstly, you can use tfilelist to retrieves a set of files based on a filemask pattern and check them by using tfileexist component then. 
&lt;BR /&gt;Please take a look at my screenshot. 
&lt;BR /&gt; 
&lt;BR /&gt;As a matter of fact, if you want to check if there is any file in a folder, e.g. *.* or *.csv. You can check out "generate error if no file found " directly.

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Can I use tfileexist to check if ANY files are in a folder, e.g. *.* or *.csv... It does not seem to work, any way around this problem?&lt;/P&gt;</description>
