topic How to convert EBCDIC file to ASCII in Talend Studio

I have just started using Talend and I'm trying to convert EBCDIC to ASCII, here are the details what I have done so far -
I created a new EBCDIC under copybook and generated schema, then used tFileInputEBCDIC to read the file from local and tLogRow to display the output.
The input file is a small size file downloaded from mainframe, and I used its cobol copybook.
Once I ran the job the output still has special characters, I'm not if the steps I used is correct or is this the right way to convert EBCDIC file to ASCII format?

thanks
