Is there any way we can generate output in MS word in some expected format.

Sorry. There isn't any component to generate the output in MS Word now.
You can create issue at BugTracker for this new feature.

Can we create output file as notepad and then change the extension as .doc or .docx to get the MS word as output file?
Will that work?

If you try this, the result is that you can't open the MS word file.
Because MS Word file is not simple IOStream.

I tried to change the extension of a delimited notepad file which has comma separated values. After changing the extension as .doc, its getting opened in the MS Word without any issues. And the format of the delimited values are same as in the notepad!!
And I tried giving .doc extension in tFileOutputDelimited, its creating output as MS word file with same input data format.

Yes. It can be changed into *.doc.
But if you use OFFICE2007, the extension will be docx.
Then you will the error and can't open.

Thanks Guys, but i dont want to simply generate or convert the output in word. I want to achieve something more i.e.,
I want to pick some fields from source DB or file and map it on output word doc at different place (formatted) and then email it. Samething i want on PDF and excel.
Pedro I will do but by posting on Bug track, can we expect some solution.

I know that in Exchange you can find a component to generate PDF file. You can download it.
But component for word isn't exist.
Yes, post on BugTracker for this new feature.

yes, you need to create a new user id and password for BugTracker. I have done the same thing for the bugTracker.
