Build job: jar file empty

I had a job working fine.

Then later without having changed anything, I tried to build the job again. But then the generated jar file was empty (contained nothing but a manifest file)!

I found the problem by deleting subjob by subjob beginning at the end: It was the tRunJob component!

First repair trial:

Deleting the tRunJob component and adding and configuring a new tRunJob did not help.

Second repair trial:

In the end I opened the child job the tRunJob was calling and did some dummy edits on the child job, then saved it and rebuilt the parent job. Now, the jar file was built correctly and no longer empty.

TOS 7.0.1 with JDK 1.8 on Windows

Hello,

It seems to be a random issue? Have you tried to restart your studio to see if it is working well?

Does this issue also reproduce on talend open studio V 7.3?

I strongly recommend to update to Open Studio 7.3.1. The version 7.0.1 ist actually nothing more than a huge collection of bugs!
