Unable to retrieve schema from HIVE on an EMR instance

HI,

I have an EMR instance. I have created few databases and lakes on the hive.

On Talend, I have created the HDFS connection and it connects well.

I created a Hive connection and it was able to connect as well.

Now when I try to retrieve schema, its unable to pull back.. There is no error message but for hours it is in progress state.

Can you please let me know if it is because of the below reasons.

1. EMR version on talend the latest I can get is 5.15.0 whereas the one I have is 5.23.0

2. The Hive version supported by talend is 2.8.3 whereas the one that is on the EMR is 2.3.4

please let me know if these are not the cause for the issue I am facing

Hi Sabrina,
I had to downgrade the version of AWS EMR I was using to what Talend can
support and then this issue was resolved.
