Reusing a (pre)job

Hello,

I have this subjob that gets/generates a JWT token but since we're going to be using that a lot I'm trying to make it reusable.

What I have now

Job1: Get/Generate JWT token -> put in context var

Job2: Get context var but that's empty so this job fails

I have read https://help.talend.com/r/jomWd_GKqAmTZviwG_oxHQ/ICv6hRE2pgpUtQFvQDmxkg but I still can't get it to work.

Any pointers in the right direction?

Hello,

Please have a look at the tBufferOuput component which is usually used with tRunJob.

You could send the values into the buffer in the child job and link your tRunJob to an output components(tlogrow, tMap) and read the value sent back by the child job into the tBufferOutput.
