tPop : random issue : javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException:AUTHENTICATE failed

Hi All,

I'm facing a very strange problem, several jobs are using tPop component to download emails from our mails servers (cf Screen.JPG)

Those jobs were running well since a while, but since a few weeks ago, we get an authentification random issue, with error message javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException:AUTHENTICATE failed.

On mails server side, we didn't find any additional relevant information.

Talend Studio 7.3.1

Java JRE 1.8.0.241

How to analyse, investigate, fix this issue ?

Hello,

Please make sure that the credentials provided to the mail box are proper and the firewall for the port is also opened.

Is connection while connecting on host on your port XXX working well?

As I mentioned, it's a random issue and finally it seems that the root cause was to find on email account side.
