upgrade remot-engine on linux plateform

Hy,

I'm using a linux VM

when i try to update my remote-engine by using command

./Talend-RemoteEngine-V2.12.7-253-Linux-x64.run --mode unattended --installdir /opt/TalendRemoteEngine --region emea --authkey <key.>

with <key> is the value get on cloud administration site

I have this message :

Error running /opt/TalendRemoteEngine/bin/client -a 8104 -h localhost -t 90000 -p tadmin 'feature:install wrapper': No more authentication methods available

Error running /opt/TalendRemoteEngine/bin/client -a 8104 -h localhost -t 90000 -p tadmin -f inst-wrapper.txt: No more authentication methods available

Error running /etc/init.d/talend-remote-engine start: /bin/sh: /etc/init.d/talend-remote-engine: Aucun fichier ou dossier de ce type

someone may i help me ??

We are supposing that you've checked this online documentation about:

Could you please confirm the installation command is run as root?

We have ever met such error during installation can come when the values of the %JAVA_HOME% and %PATH% environment variables are not set correctly.

Please take a look at this article about:

https://community.talend.com/s/article/Remote-Engine-installation-fails-with-Error-running-C-TalendRemoteEngine-bin-client-bat-a-h-localhost-u-tadmin-feature-install-wrapper-xCMQe?language=en_US

After de-installation of the previous RE, sometimes a manual fix of Java environment variable is needed.

Thanks for your help. Yes i did. All command have been run as root. And all my environment variables are set. JAVA_HOME, PATH.

Thank i found . it was a problem with the uninstall script.
