If you could share the screenshot of the current job flow with some sample records, we will get more idea about the issue. Please also add the current language settings too.

Hi ,

I'm working on a scenario where i extract data from Web service . where i get special characters in the data , for which i need specific encoding either UTF-8 or ISO-8859-15 depending on the incoming data.

For example if i use encoding as UTF-8 in my Webservice request and if the incoming data has latin characters , my job is failing with below error.

ERROR: 'Invalid byte 2 of 3-byte UTF-8 sequence.'

But i want to handle such situations and have a sub job which will have a web service request where i give encoding as ISO-8859-15 , which actually solves my issue.

Can any one help me with the work around to achieve this scenario?

Thanks in advance

Maddi Sai Vamsi
