Proxy Configuration and Trouble Installing Packages

Hello,

I recently installed Talend Open Studio for Data Quality 6.4.1. I think proxy configuration may be causing me to have problems downloading packages and/or the Tableau repository locations are wrong.

1) I configured the proxy because that's what my office uses to handle requests (see screenshot). But it is saying the system property is not set. What and where do I set the 'system property'? As you can see the port I use is 8080. The proxy name is greyed out.

2) Two errors in log (Full log is attached). Main ones are below. There are a ton of jar files that Talend cannot seem to fetch either from its own online repository. Most of them are located at the url mvnrg.talend.libraries/automaton-1.11-8/........)

Hello,

Did you set up your proxy correctly? Have you already add the web site http://talend-update.talend.com and the port 443 to your whitelist?

Are you referring to adding that to the proxy bypass? Is that what you mean by whitelist? Thank you

We don't find anything wrong with your setting from screenshot.

I have the same problem. Try all that configuration and the link that you suggested but still didn't work.

I added the SOCKS configuration and it worked. However, the db connection only works with the http and https configured. Otherwise I get a network error.

@xdshi, is there a way to do an analysis off of custom sql query. While you can configure rules, it only allows where clause rules. What if I want to have the analysis select distinct column1, column2 so I do not get duplicate rows?

I found this question on the topic. Have there been any updates since then on this capability?
