thmap Error - Cannot test run or show document

Hi all,

I have a Talend Data Management Platform 7.0.1 job where i retrieve information from several tables in the same database and then use a tmap component to do some joins and data transformations. After that i need to connect it to a thmap so i can export that information into a XML file. The need for the thmap is because i need to use several loops and groups.

The problem is that the thmap can’t read the information from tmap. When i use the option “Show Sample” in the thmap i got an error saying “Cannot test run or show document because the input representation is Map (Data Integration Schema)”.

The job runs without any errors but doesn’t return any information.

The screenshots with output and errors are attached.

Can anyone help me?

Hello,

This error occurs when doing Show Document or Test Run and the input representation is Map(For example;no sample input document being present.)

Please refer to this online documentation which explain what exactly does work.
