V8 Branch Control

Since we upgraded to V8(a couple of years ago), we've faced an issue that we can 'work around' but can be quite annoying and could potentially lose development work.

The issue is this:

If we have a branch open in Design Studio and open an earlier branch , then the later branch picks up the attributes/characteristics of the earlier branch. e.g

If I was working on Branch_2025 and opened Branch_2024, then back into Branch_2025, it has reverted to Branch_2024 . So any changes to the later branch have potentially been overwritten . We need to be careful not to copy back to Git or we could lose any changes on the later branch.

As a work around we have to delete Branch_2025 from Design Studio , then re-open it from Git, and it doesn't always work first time , it can take a few attempts.

Has anyone else experienced this in Design Studio V8? it was never an issue in V7
