Implicit tContextLoad

I am upgrading from 5.2.2 to 5.6.2 and am having problems with Implicit tContextLoad.
My properties file is in the form
// FRED schema connection context variables
FRED_CONN_AdditionalParams;
FRED_CONN_Login;myname
FRED_CONN_Password;mypw
FRED_CONN_Port;1234
FRED_CONN_Schema;myschema
etc ....
This was ok at 5.2.2 but in 5.6.2 I get errors
Line doesn't match: // FRED schema connection context variables
Setting a value for the key "FRED_CONN_AdditionalParams" has failed. Error message: null

How do I have comments in the properties file at 5.6.2 and how do I overcome the empty value for FRED_CONN_AdditionalParams?
I've identified that the messages are set as info messages in the job. Info messages are suppressed so don't show in he log. However in5.6.2 the settings are the same but are printed. The messages are not proceeded by the message type - info/warning/error - so I assume this is why the are shown in the log. Just need to find out why.
Seems it's a bug.

The jira issue TDI-32851 shows this issue has been fixed on version 5.5.3, 5.6.3 and 6.0. Have you had a chance to test it with version 6.0 or 6.1 to see if it is fixed?

I'm upgrading to 5.6.2 so I will require a patch. I have raised this with support.
