Mainframe system migrating to other database using Talend

Does the mainframe system DB can be migrated to other databases like oracle,mysql using the open studio data integration?
Or we need the licenced version Enterprise Data integration to migrate the mainframe system.
This question is related to the ETL process. Whether the talend open source has the feasibility to migrate the mainframe system DB to Oracle/Mysql?
Anyone please explain from Talend team.

Not only migration of Data. I need to do data validation before sending the data to Target DB.
Is it possible in talend Open source.
Question is related to ETL process.
Please clarify.
