Connection to Oracle Cloud

Hi, I'm trying to create a connection to a database within Oracle Cloud. I work with Talend Studio Version 8.

The only Oracle Connection component that sounded promising asked for a tns file.
I used the tnsnames.ora file within the wallet.zip I got from our database administrators. The component in Talend Studio managed to autofill all the connection parameters. Once I start the job, I receive the error message:

java.sql.SQLRecoverableException: IO Error: Connection reset, Authentication lapse 0 ms.

What do I need to do to get access to the Oracle Cloud Database?

Hi jhuebler,

If you are using an older Studio version < R2023-08, you may want to upgrade your Studio to a newer version.

A Studio fix for this issue was released in august of 2023.
