Hive connection failure-You must change the database settings

I am getting error while setting up hive connection through metadata. error is"You must change the database settings". I have tried to import "hive-jdbc-4.1.0-standalone.jar" file through modules. It gets vanishes when refreshed. kindly help me to resolve this issue.
