Hi Everyone,

I had a similar question almost a year ago regarding what is the best practice for sharing / distributing the components with the previous Dev Kit: https://community.talend.com/t5/Design-and-Development/Exchange-Component-made-by-Talend-Component-Kit/m-p/55875

This one aims the new TaCoKit framework.

I read about the possibility for using the Component ARchive: https://community.talend.com/t5/Component-Development/How-to-deploy-a-custom-component-that-was-developed-in-the/m-p/149347/highlight/true#M278

My question is:

- Can we upload custom component .CAR files to Talend Exchange? Or is there any suggested way for the component distribution?

Sorry for the delay in answering. Let me investigate about this possibility and get back to you.
In theory, it should be possible to use Talend Exchange for this, but it may require some adaptation.
