Can anyone explain if it would be possible to transfer the information stored in the metadata_properties.csv into the MetadataCrawlerConfig as a way to better adjust the metadata properties?

Hi, there is no plan to move that part of the config from the CSV file to the context because it provides the capability to adjust properties for different types of resources (raster, vector, map). It may be even used to join on other criteria (like file location) but needs some changes for this.
Therefor, If you want to change that, you could probably look into the tMap component joining the text file and the main flows and replace the join by properties from the context in the scan-vector, scan-raster jobs.
