Cannot edit my job after closing TOS and opening again.

Hi,

I´m a beginner so scouse me for provably reporting something really dumb.

I managed to create my first simple job that uses a tDBInput to connect to an Oracle table. It then connects to a tDBOutput that creates a table in a PortgreSQL database and dumps the data.

It works nicely and I was happy to that point.

I closed the tool to go home and this morning when I opened the TOS again to keep on working in my job I double click on the icon of my tDBInput or my tDBOutput but it won´t open the “Component” window to show the details (Basic Settings, Advance Settings, …).

Any help will be highly appreciated since I´m pretty much stack.

Hello,

Could you please open the error log generated automatically by the Studio to see whether you have error stack trace there; if you do, we will appreciate it a lot if you can paste it here.

About how to open this error log: in your Studio, click Window to open the menu, then select Show View->General->Error Log. Once you see an error, double click it.

Hi again. I managed to fix the problem. I fugured out that right-clicking on the name of the forder "Integration" you get a window with the "Reset" option that brings back the original look&field.
