hello,

as far as i know talend support CDC in enterprise edition,

now, my question is, does talend support extracting real time data (using CDC) from an oracle database installed on Solaris 10 server.

for example

a machine that has Talend open studio enterprise edition, and i want to connect to an oracle database that is installed on a server and that server has the OS solaris 10.

then i want to use CDC componenets with that database.

is that possible?

Hi,

CDC depends on the database version rather than underlying server type. Could you please verify whether your DB version is matching n CDC document?

hello sir,

yes my db version matches what's in the cdc document, my only concern was that talend cdc might not work / not compatible with the solaris 10 OS

and as far as i understand from your reply that the OS doesnt matter, what matters is the DB version itself, am i understanding this right ?
