Hi - I wonder if someone can help me...
I'm trying to create a text file that is used to request data from Bloomberg's per-security product. The file is a simple text file with a number of sections:
There are 3 sections - like this:
START-OF-FILE
<File Header>
<List of Fields>
<List of Securities>
END-OF-FILE
each section has a number of rows:
The <File Header> contains specific keys & values - mostly to be read from contrexts or alternatively hard-coded
The <List of Fields> and <List of Securities> can fairly simply be read from a file
I think I need to use tFileOutputMSDelimited but there is no example in the help file of the version of TOS.
Is tFileOutputMSDelimited the best component?
And if so, does someone have an example?
Any help would be much appreciated
