Connection Meta Repository Settings Changing...

Does anyone have an explanation for a problem I keep finding.

Once I set up a job and use a DB connection from the Meta repository the database connections in the job sometimes change from Repository to Built-In which clearly then means I can't propagate the changes from the repository.

Any ideas why this will happen and also any ideas on a quick way to change them back when you have many DB connections in your job...
