Hi ,

I have two questions.

First: I created a table in hive and I want this table to be stored into my metadata in talend. Is it possible?

Second: In a sql query I want to parse the result of the query into a variable. So I did : status =" Select * from ID". I tried to print the status variable but nothing happen. How can I achieve that?

@DrGenious , Yes you can create a metadata for hive in talend metadata section.please find the below screenshot.

Ok , I created for the database, but have I to create also for the table also ? There is no way to take the tables from hive automatically into metadata?
