@amula, @amitjn1 :
Could you please help me out as i am facing the same error.
I'm using TOS_BD 6.3.0 (which uses Java 1.8) in my local machine and have connected it with a sandbox (Virtual machine) : single node cluster (Quickstart for CDH5.8) . This hadoop's java version is 1.7.0_67 so i have installed the same in my local and pointed the preferences in TALEND to that (Java 1.7.0_67) thus making both TALEND and Hadoop run has same Java version, but it still doesn't work. Any idea on where am i going wrong ?
I have also tried setting up the Sqoop Home and Config dir in .bashrc file in hadoop.
Error : WARN ]: org.apache.sqoop.ConnFactory - $SQOOP_CONF_DIR has not been set in the environment. Cannot check for additional configuration.
