Extracting particular row or column and particular data using regex.

Hi,
I have a requirement to append a specific value to the last row, last column of a .csv file.
Do we have any option in talend to do that?
Also i should extract some data based on the given regex from a .csv file. (eg : *efg should extract abcdefg).
Please suggest which function i should use for this.

Note sure I understand your requirement. It sounds like you have two separate questions. It may be better to create two topics instead of combining them in one.

Will it work for you to write the file and then append the last row in a different process? You can use tFileOutputDelimited with append option selected to append a row to an existing file.

"extract some data based on the given regex"

perhaps tFileInputRegex or tExtractRegexFields will meet you needs?
You can search for Regex in the pallet to see these components.
