Assure connection to MS SQL Server was successful or not

Hi there,

I'm using Talend DI 6.4.0, in which I've installed mssql-jdbc drivers to connect to connect to MS SQL server. But after running job It is not getting connected. Below are the screenshots :

What might be going wrong ?

I've tried changing port to default i.e. 1433 and the error has gone. Here is the screenshot :

But how can I assure if connection was successful or not ?

Hi,
Usually, if you have no error, then... there is no error, but you can be sure that in case of, the next db component will fail if not connected yet.
