Accessing local files from cloud

Hello,

I'm trying to pick up a local .txt file and process in Talend cloud. It is working fine in Studio but when I push to the cloud, it doesn't seem to recognize the file location. I used the ellipses in the talend job to select the file path, which then types out something like this: "G:/LocalDrive/Folder". This works great until I push to the cloud, then it is not recognized & the file is never picked up. One of my coworkers suggested that I need to change that to the UNC path & not the 'G:/'. I did that & had to double up the \\ in the UNC path, but was able to get the job to pass compile & actually run in the cloud. However, it never picks up the data.

Do you know what I'm doing wrong or what I'm missing?

Is your job deployed on a remote engine? If so, local files should be accessibles as they are when you're connected to this environment.

Thanks, looks like our Remote Engine Talend Server needed security access to more network directories. Once that was granted, the cloud version processed fine.
