Metadata-File XML- Require set as loop

Hi
I am trying to use the Metadata-Output XML to specify in the repository a schema definition.
I am reading in an .xsd file, selecting the root (File - Step 3 of 5) and then when I press Next I get the Error - "Require set as loop" and I cannot seem to find out (a) what it actually means and (b) therefore how to solve the problem.
Could anyone point me to the documentation or provide guidance on how to get over this issue.

Loop element
The loop element allows you to define the iterating object. Generally the Loop element is also the row generator.
To define an element as loop element:
1.Select the relevant element on the XML tree.
2.Right-click and select "Set as Loop Element"
