With Talend, all the logic function can be finished with components and all the operations are Visual. You can export the java script of job as a batch file and run the job out of talend, etc...
Best regards

-- Warning, this is not a polemic message! --
Hi world!
My issue: I have to develop a batch extracting data in a CSV formatted file from Databases, Active Directories or CSV files.
The data source has to be configurable throw an external configuration file (a context?).
We have to manage errors (cannot read file, cannot connect to the data source, the input schema isn't valid, etc...).
What's the advantage of using Talend versus a framework like SpringBatch?
Thanks!
