Parameter to set HTTP Timeout while exec. long running web-service

Hi all.
I am little bit confused about setting the value for an http communication timeout while calling a web-service (see included image of route).
I'd like to invoke a web service method (on a c# .net web-service) triggered by a quartz timer component. The quartz timer triggers the web service call every 5 minutes. Due to the fact that the web service invocation may take longer than a minute, there is always an "HTTP Read timeout" exception exactly after 60 seconds.
After looking for a set of parameters to increment the http timeout, I found the two properties that can be set within the cCXF component: properties.connectionTimeOut, properties.receiveTimeout.
I changed the two parameters, but this did not have any effect ohn the web service timeout. It always closes the connection after 60 seconds.
Any help on how to set the correct parameters is appreciated.
