tELTMAP with different connection for Input and Output

Hello,

I am designing one job in Talend Open Studio 7.2. which has snowflake database as source as well as target.
I would like to use tELTMap component to transfer data from source to target.

Please see job design in attached file.
tSnowflakeConnection
|
|
tELTInput -------> tELTMap ---------> tELTOutput

But I have different snowflake connection for source and target.
We don't have options in tELTInput or tELTOutput to select required connection only tELTMap has this option where we can only select 1 connection. So, is that mean our source and target should be in same database?

Is it possible to use different connection for source and target in ELT? Or Is this functionality available in Enterprise version of talend?

Hi,

The tELTMap has option to get only one connection. ELT works when you are going to process the transformation rules after loading the data. So if you have two different data sources, you may have to go for the ETL route.
