Outlook tPop component

Hi Talend expoerts

I am trying to connect to outlook 365 mail exchange using following config and it keeps failing and throws an error:

“javax.mail.AuthenticationFailedException: AUTHENTICATE failed.”

Not sure if I am doing something wrong.

Could you please suggest?

Please check your username and password. I just make a testing with my office 365 account and it is working, I am able to retrieve emails or send emails using tSendMail.

I checked username and password and even tried with different people and same error.

"Authentication failed".....

Could you pls share what you are using in config @shong ?

Sorry, I don't have any access to config file if it exists, it is usually configured and managed by our IT team, I don't know what they have configured. I use my standard company email and password.

Hello try to add this Java option in job and try :

-Dmail.imap.auth.plain.disable=true

if it still does not work , may be IMAP is not allowed in your organisation.

Update from customer :The issue was that mailbox was enabled MFA and when tried with another mailbox where MFA was disabled and it worked fine.
