Download excel file from url

Hi all,

I have a URL <http://example.com&format=xlsx> which when invoked, I get an excel file downloaded to local machine. I need to invoke the url, save the excel file in a local directory. Please let me know how to achieve that.

When I used tFileFetch component, it is downloading the html file of the url <http://example.com&format=xlsx> but excel file is not downloaded.

did you try tFileCopy?

I am still facing the issue with tFileCopy.

Starting job ReadExcel at 14:08 05/09/2018.

The source File "<URL>" does not exist or is not a file.
tFileCopy_1 <URL> (The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect)
[statistics] disconnected

normally tFileFetch is the good solution.
what is there into the downloaded html file?

can you also check and send back *Print response to console *

It was my mistake, I was giving https as the protocol instead of http. It's working fine now.
