tMysqlConnection refused for Mariadb

Hi,

I am trying to connect to Mariadb database using tMysqlConnection component. I have attached the screenshot of my basic settings. I am getting following error:

Could not connect to hostort : Connection refused

I have tried to set this port even under Windows Firewall with advanced security but I am still getting the same error. I am sure someone has tried this before. I will appreciate any help. Thanks!

Hello SJ,

Could you please try to change to ip address not localhost nor 127.0.0.1 in the DB configuration to see if it works fine?

Hi,

Thanks! I was able to connect to mariadb. Actually it was installed on another server. So I just used its servername (mariadb server name) instead of 127.0.0.1 ip address in the DB configuration.
