tFileOutputExcel - component creates plenty TEMP-files

Hello,
the component "tFileOutputExcel" creates by each run in a folder "C:/computer/user/username/AppData/Local/Temp" a file named "poi-sxssf-sheet53636363668.xml" (the numbers are bei each run different). the file size is ca 5MB. If you run the job (it is a automatic scheduled job) for example every 10 minutes, your disk will overflow.
I do not need these files.
Is there any possible to prohibit this?

Hi,
Can you use tFileDelete component to delete these temp files based on a timer(scheduler)? What's your OS?

Hi Sabrina,
yes, I can delete these files with tFileDelete.
But, it was a luck to find this problem. Because the job runs every minute, after a few days the total systems crashed because of full disk. Then we found out, that the talend job creates every minute this not necessary file
I would like to get some informations, to avoid these background created files. I believe, many people have the same problem and do not know, why the disk becomes more and more full.

Have you already checked document about:TalendHelpCenter:Compatible Platforms. So far, talend don't support Java 8.

Hello,
We have exactly the same issue, with Talend Job Server v5.5.1 on Windows 2012 server.
We would like to NOT have these files generated, or at least to remove it automatically once it is not necessary anymore.
25 GB of files were generated and crashed out the system (Job deployment to job server crashed with no clear error message in logs).

Please advice.

Hi Sabrina,
the file is also running under Windows 7 on a pure Windows PC with Java7 67. The same problem you can find.
And as I learn by Jerome, this problem will also occure bei windows server 2012. This information is important, because we want to apply the program on a windows server 2012 in the next week.
Please give us hints how to proceed.

Hi,
We don't repro this issue on Win7 64 bit, Jdk 1.7.
So far, there is no setting in studio to skip it. A solution is to design a tFileDelete job to delete them automatically.
Have you tried it on other build version?(5.6)
Could you please open a workitem jira issue of DI project on Talend Bug Tracker?

Hello,
We have the same issues, we had 11Go in ( c:\windows\temp) and 20 Go in (c:\users\talend\appdata\local\tem) of poi-sxssf-sheet files.

Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard
TIS 5.6.1
