schema edit in tfileinputraw

Hi, I'm new to TOS and want to know a little more about editing metadata from a table. I watched one of the tutorials, but encountering still difficulties. What I did so far was the following.

I imported a table schema from Postgres into the metadata repository and applied it to tfileinputraw to read a text file.

Then I changed the schema in tfileinputraw from repository to inbuilt in the hope that I could remove one of the columns however it does not allow me to edit anything. I can however remove the column in the table schema in the metadata repository, but don't want to do it that way.

And just when I posted it, I found out that with the tfileinputdelimited instead, you are actually able to edit the schema after changing it to built-in.
