    <description>&lt;P&gt;depending on the database you're connecting to there may be the need to pass additional information beyond the standard jdbc connection fields&amp;nbsp; host/port/database/schema/user/password. One example of this is for MSSQL, often you need to define a specific "instance". To add this information to the connection string, you would add "instance=myInstance" in the additional jdbc&amp;nbsp;parameters. If additional parameters are required for your specific database, you'll be able to find how exactly to define them in the database documentation.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Can you please help me out what is the reason to use&amp;nbsp;additional jdbc parameters in db componets&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;in Which scenarios do we need to use it&lt;/P&gt;
