Hello Team,

We can implement SCD2 with tJDBCSCDELT component and without tJDBCSCDELT component as well.

For huge data sets, which is better SCD2 approach:With or without ELT?

Also, For tJDBCSCELT, we do not have option to mention filter condition for source table for incremental data.Only option is to mention Source table name.

Note: We are using snowflake as database.

Regards,

Rohit Londhe

Hi Rohit,

I would recommend to go with ELT components if you would like to do the processing without extracting the data outside of DB environment. But if you need more filtering, I would recommend to check whether other Talend ELT components for Snowflake helps in your use case.

Warm Regards,
Nikhil Thampi

Please appreciate our Talend community members by giving Kudos for sharing their time for your query. If your query is answered, please mark the topic as resolved
